Do I need the IRIS app to play?
Yes. IRIS is the ship's AI and she runs the whole game for you: objectives, events, and threats. This means less setup and no rulebook to read at the table, but the app is required to play.
Do I need Wi-Fi or mobile data during the game?
The IRIS app needs an internet connection to run missions. Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi or data connection before starting a session, especially if you plan to play away from home.
Is the IRIS app free?
Yes, IRIS is free to download on iOS and Android. If your connection drops mid-game, simply reconnect and resume: your mission progress is not lost.
Can I really play Spark Riders 3000 solo?
Yes, Spark Riders 3000 is built as a solo-cooperative game and works from 1 to 4 players. With fewer players, each Rider manages more roles, so the experience shifts from teamwork-heavy to a tighter personal challenge.
What devices does the IRIS app support?
IRIS runs on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. One device is enough to run a full game for up to 4 players.
What is the difference between the Rider and Commander Edition?
The Rider Edition includes everything you need to play: the ship board, character standees, cards, dice, and access to the IRIS app. The Commander Edition adds premium components such as detailed miniatures and a double-layer board for a more immersive setup. Both use the same missions and the same IRIS app.
How will my order be delivered?
