The Beginning of an Adventure

It all started on a university bench. Two students, Romain and Jean-Xia, sat side by side, unaware that a simple conversation would spark a lifelong friendship. They quickly discovered a shared passion: board games. The kind that made you laugh uncontrollably, think on your feet, and bond with the people around you.

Life moved on, as it always does. They graduated, found jobs, and their passion for games remained, tucked away like an old board game waiting to be played again. Then came 2020, a year when the world hit pause. Like so many, they found themselves with time to reflect, to reconnect with the things that truly mattered. And for them, that meant games.

They didn’t just want to play games, though. They wanted to create them. Games that were easy to pick up but impossible to put down. Games that would turn strangers into friends and bring families closer together. And so, SAVANA was born.

A Vision Brought to Life

Their goal was to create games that felt captivating, exciting, and, most importantly, brought people together. And they did just that.

One of their games, Traitors Aboard, quickly became favorite at game nights. In 2023, they even won multiple awards, among them the Toy Award of the Year, a recognition that felt almost dreamlike. What started as an idea between two friends had turned into something much bigger - a way for people all over the world to share moments of fun, laughter, and strategy.

At SAVANA, we believe that games are more than just entertainment. They’re a reason to put away your phone, to gather around a table, to challenge your friends, and to create stories you’ll tell for years to come.

We’ve designed a variety of games to fit any mood, whether you’re in the mood for fast-paced action, clever strategy, or just pure chaos and fun. And the best part? Hearing the stories from players like you.
